It was almost a history-making weekend at the British Open. Tom Watson came oh, so close to being the oldest player to win a major tournament.
Instead, Stewart Cink won his first major. And, the native of Huntsville, Alabama, is one of the more committed Christian players on the tour.
On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, former golfer Wally Armstrong talks about the lives of Watson and Cink. Wally feels that Watson may have as good of a short game as any golfer in history.
Wally also talks about how winning a major can change a golfer’s career.
It was the highlight of the sports weekend. And, we recap it with our golf analyst, Wally Armstrong, on Sports Spectrum Today.
