The second half of the Major League Baseball season starts today.

It has been a disappointing season in the National League West for the Arizona Diamondbacks. We talk with Luke Carlin, one of the Arizona catchers, about how he continues to stay motivated. 

Luke has an unusual baseball background. He is from Canada, but he chose baseball over hockey. He played college baseball at Northeastern University in Boston, as opposed to a warm-weather school.   

He is a young Christian, and in our conversation shares stories of faith that relate to him as a player, a husband, and a dad.
