Last weekend, a long dry spell was snapped in NASCAR. Popular driver, Kasey Kahne won in Sonoma, California on a road course for Richard Petty Motorsports.

With some renewed confidence can he continue to win? How about driving superstar, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., can he also start winning?

It is an uncertain time financially for many in racing. Petty’s majority owner, George Gillett, sold the Montreal Canadians over the weekend. And Petty Motorsports recently laid off nine employees and made company-wide salary cuts.
