It used to be that the summer was a relaxing time for high school football players. Not any more. In this era, many players go to summer camps to hone their skills and to get in shape.

In addition, they now go to football combines in an attempt to get their names out to college scouts. On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we talk with Dale Weaver. He and his company help organize and run combines across the country.

Dale sees his work as an opportunity to help kids and their parents. He gives some advice to parents who sometimes become a little over-zealous in trying to help their child's athletic career.
