College football conference championship games are being played in the SEC, ACC, Conference USA, MAC and Big 12. Today we preview the upcoming SEC title game with the head coach at The Citadel, Kevin Higgins.

Kevin's team played Florida near the end of the year, and he’s also familiar with Alabama. He shares his observations on what makes both of these teams so solid.

It’s also a good time to talk about real-life issues in coaching with Kevin. He shares his thoughts on the personal battles coaches face with pride and ego as they participate in a competitive business that is measured by on the field results.

Kevin also talks about the FCS playoffs, formerly known as I-AA. He talks about the potential that Appalachian State has to win a fourth straight national title.
