The college football season has had quite a start—this past weekend was loaded with upsets. On Sports Spectrum Today we talk about college football with a former player now broadcaster, Johnny Evans of the N. C. State Radio Network.
Johnny was an all ACC quarterback at N. C. State in the 1970's and an all-ACC punter he went on to punt for the Cleveland Browns in the NFL.
Johnny shares his thoughts on some of the top stories in the ACC this season, including the disappointing start by the Clemson Tigers. He also talks about Clemson coach Tommy Bowden, and Tommy’s father Bobby Bowden of Florida State. Johnny observes how their faith aids their ability to handle the pressures of coaching.
Johnny also touches on Maryland, Duke and N. C. State, all programs that are re-building.
It’s a college football visit with Johnny Evans on Sports Spectrum Today.
