Don Ott – Bay Area Sports

SPORTS SPECTRUM TODAY

Bay Area Sports

Guest: Don Ott
Sports Spectrum Bay Area Correspondent
Pastor, Sports Writer & Athletic Administrator

Interviewed by: Frank Giardina

It’s not an easy time to be a sports fan in the Bay Area of San Francisco or Oakland. The 49'ers did get a win on Sunday over Seattle, but other than that there have been few bright spots for fans of the Raiders, Giants, A's, and Warriors.

On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we talk about Bay Area sports with Don Ott. Don is a church pastor in San Francisco. He’s also a free lance sports writer and the commissioner of a small college conference in northern California. Prior to going into ministry Don was an Associate Commissioner of the West Coast Athletic Conference.

Is San Francisco a good baseball town? Don tells us why San Francisco Giants fans are optimistic about the future. Don’s answer may surprise you.

He also talks about his own life and adventure in athletics. His journey in sports has been unusual and exciting.

It’s Bay Area sports and an interesting visit with biblical perspective. Don’t miss this visit with Don Ott on Sports Spectrum Today.
