Competition continues in Beijing, a new group of athletes have taken center stage this time at the 2008 Summer Paralympic Games. They are truly some of the best athletes in the world. Many have been training all of their lives and will continue to do so even after they retire from the spotlight of Parlympic competition.
On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we will talk with a member of the U.S. Paralympic Team, wheelchair basketball player, Jennifer Ruddell.
Jennifer visits with Bill Houston and shares her experience as a Paralympic athlete. We hear of her passion for wheelchair basketball and her passion for her relationship with Christ. Solomon Ashoms caught up with Jennifer after the team played Germany last week. Jennifer shares some insights from the game and shares her observations of the Paralympic environment in Beijing.
