The Indy Racing League season is over. Scott Dixon is the 2008 points champ and also the Indy 500 champion. On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we talk about some of the top stories in the IRL with our racing analyst, Brad Winters.

Was it a good year for Danica Patrick?  Was it disappointing year for Marco Andretti?  How about the year for Graham Rahal, the son of former Indy 500 winner Bobby Rahal?

We also talk about the return to the IRL of 2007 Indy 500 winner Dario Franchitti. Franchitti drove in NASCAR this past season, but is returning to Indy racing next year to drive for Ganassi Racing—he’s taking Dan Wheldon’s place. Wheldon, also a former 500 winner is moving to Panther Racing.
