College football season is here it kicks off tonight. One of the best game of the evening is South Carolina hosting N. C. State. On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we will talk with the color analyst for the N. C. State radio network and a former N. C. State quarterback, Johnny Evans.

He gives us a preview of ACC football and the biggest game of the opening weekend, Alabama vs. Clemson in Atlanta. Johnny also talks about Clemson head coach Tommy Bowden and how his Bible based principles guide him in the coaching profession.

Johnny also makes some serious comments about sports dads. He is one and his son is one of the quarterbacks at N. C. State. Johnny offers some advice for sports dads everywhere.
