Frank Giardina & Doug Redford – Football & Baseball

SPORTS SPECTRUM TODAY

Professional Football &
Major League Baseball

Frank Giardina
Doug Redford

On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, Frank Giardina and Doug Redford talk about the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Recently, long time Washington Redskins wide receiver Art Monk was inducted into the Hall. Some wonder why it took so long.

There are a number of outstanding players, including former Green Bay Packers guard Jerry Kramer, who are still not in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Frank and Doug will identify some of them—a few names may surprise you.

Finally, in Major League Baseball and the NFL, is it hard is it to keep one’s ego from contributing to a bad decision. How much did ego and pride factor into the recent baseball trades of Manny Ramirez and Ken Griffey Jr and the NFL trade of Brett Favre.

It’s real-issues in sports and life on this edition of Sports Spectrum Today.
