Jerry Terrell – Major League Baseball

SPORTS SPECTRUM TODAY

Major League Baseball

 Guest: Jerry Terrell
Former Major League Infielder and Scout
Minnesota Twins
Kansas City Royals

Interviewed by: Frank Giardina

On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we talk about Major League Baseball. Our guest is Jerry Terrell. In the 1970’s Jerry was an infielder for the Minnesota Twins and Kansas City Royals.

Even thought he wants to, it’s often difficult for a utility player to play every day? How hard is it for a player to constantly be a servant and put the team's needs ahead of their own?  Should an athlete make decisions based on pride and ego?

These are some of the real-life issues we will discuss with Jerry. He was often put in the role of playing in a back up role for his team.

It’s an encouraging conversation—don't miss our visit with former Major League Baseball player, Jerry Terrell, on Sports Spectrum Today.
