This week on Sports Spectrum Today we’re recognizing some of the veteran members of the United States Olympic team. Our guest today is Sheila Taormina. She’s the first woman to compete in three different sports in three different Olympic Games.

She won gold as a swimmer at Atlanta in 1996, competed in the triathlon in Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004.  Now she’s in Beijing competing in the pentathlon. We hear about the motivation for competition that drives Sheila to compete again.

It’s a visit with Olympian Sheila Taormina on this edition of Sports Spectrum Today.
