Terri Jordan – Paralympics

SPORTS SPECTRUM TODAY

Paralympics

Guest: Terri Jordan
Coach & Coordinator
Disability Program – Penn State University

Interviewed by: Bill Houston

An exciting week of track and field will headline much of the action this week at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, Bill Houston talks with former Olympic distance runner, Terri Jordan.

Terri is the former Terri Anderson and was an outstanding runner at Kansas State in the 1970's. She was a member of the United States Olympic team in 1972 and she’s now the Coordinator of the Disability program at Penn State University

Terri shares some of the challenges a disabled person might have and conversely might give to an able bodied person.  She also gives us her perspective as an athlete and coach.

It’s an exciting and busy time in Beijing for Olympians and in a few weeks for the Paralympians.  We will talk with former Olympian, Terri Jordan, on this edition of Sports Spectrum Today.
