NFL training camps are underway. Many teams now train at their home facility. But many others go away to small college campus settings to focus on their training. It’s a grueling often lonely time for players, coaches and their families.

We talk about NFL training camp from the perspective of an NFL wife on this edition of Sports Spectrum Today. Our guest is Debbie Christensen, the wife of long time NFL assistant coach, Clyde Christensen. Clyde is the wide receivers coach for the Indianapolis Colts.

Debbie talks about the opportunities she gets to serve the younger wives of Colts players who may be raising young children while dad is away.  She also talks about the bond that exists between the wives of NFL players and coaches.
