One of the most underrated players in all of baseball is Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop, Jack Wilson. A National League all star in 2004, Wilson has been the Pirates unsung hero for the last five seasons.

Because of the team's lack of success, many fans are not aware of Wilson’s abilities. But baseball people appreciate the California native and Jack Wilson is our guest on this edition of Sports Spectrum Today. 

Jack shares what it was like to open the season on the disabled list and how his faith carried through the lonely hours of re-hab. He also talks about the silver lining of getting to spend more time with his family.

Jack also enjoys being involved financially in community service. He shares insight on some of the past projects.
