Over the last 20 years, the Atlanta Braves have had one of the best pitching units in the history of Major League Baseball. Three members of the staff, Tom Glavine, John Smoltz and Greg Maddux are headed for the Hall of Fame someday.

On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we visit with John Smoltz. John was injured and has had season ending shoulder surgery, he hopes to pitch again in 2009.

In this visit John takes a little time to reflect on his career and his life in baseball. He’s a follower of Jesus Christ and talks about some of the things the Lord has taught him during his baseball career.
