On Sunday, the IRL staged its annual race in Newton, Iowa at the Iowa Motor Speedway. Veteran Indy Driver Dan Wheldon was the winner of this year's Iowa Corn Indy 250. 

It was another win for Chip Ganassi Racing which is having an outstanding season with drivers Scott Dixon and Dan Wheldon both winning major races. Dixon, who won the Indy 500 in May, is the overall point’s leader in the IRL standings.

On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we talk with IRL chaplain, Bob Hills. Bob shares some of the real-life issues that came to light while racing in Iowa. The state has been rocked and devastated by flooding. This past week the Indy drivers and their teams pitched in to help. Bob shares some of the stories of generosity that are coming out of the IRL.
