Basketball

Guest: Drew Neitzel
Former Point Guard
Michigan State University
NBA Draft Hopeful

Interviewed by: Frank Giardina

The NBA draft will take place on Thursday night in New York City. Earlier this week on Sports Spectrum Today, we heard from Craig Neitzel the father of NBA draft hopeful, former Michigan State guard, Drew Neitzell.

Today, we hear from Drew Neitzel. He just finished up an outstanding four year career as a point guard at Michigan State. He played in four NCAA Tournaments and was on the Spartans team that went to the Final Four in his freshman season. He also talks about playing four years of college basketball and having his college degree. That’s a rare situation compared to others in the draft. Drew is considered a borderline pick, possibly late second round. Or he may not be drafted at all.

On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, he talks about his faith in Christ and shares how his faith gives him peace during all of the uncertainty that surrounds his situation with the NBA draft.

Don't miss this visit with former Michigan State guard, Drew Neitzel, on this edition of Sports Spectrum Today.
