We continue to salute sports dads. On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today will talk with the 1971 Heisman Trophy winner, Pat Sullivan.
Pat is a former NFL quarterback and a long time college football coach. He was the head coach at TCU and is now the head football coach at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. He’s also a cancer survivor.
He’s the son of a former Samford player and he talks about what’s like to be coaching at the school his father attended. He also talks about his football journey from playing to coaching.
It was much different winning the Heisman Trophy in 1971 than it is today. There was much less pomp and pageantry. Pat also shares about what it means to be a Heisman winner.
It’s a football visit with college coach, Pat Sullivan, on Sports Spectrum Today.
