Sports has helped bond relationships between fathers and sons for generations. On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we talk about that bond with the head football coach at The Citadel, Kevin Higgins.

Prior to coaching at The Citadel, Kevin had been an assistant with the Detroit Lions, the head coach at Lehigh University and an assistant coach at the University of Richmond.

He shares a few memories of his father—including an incredible story of a 21 year old immigrant from Ireland who came to America with very little knowledge of American sports, especially football.  It’s a story you will not want to miss.
