SPORTS SPECTRUM TODAY

Basketball

Guest: C. J. Woollum
Head Men’s Basketball Coach
Christopher Newport University
Sports Spectrum Basketball Analyst

Interviewed by: Frank Giardina

Thus far the NBA Finals haven’t been much of a series. The Boston Celtics have dominated the Los Angeles Lakers at home winning the first two games. Game three will be played tonight in Los Angeles.

Are the Lakers done? Is the series over already? Boston has been too physical for the Lakers. These are some of the issues we discuss with our basketball analyst, C. J. Woollum. C. J. is a long time college coach at Christopher Newport University.

Many Laker fans are frustrated with the officiating, are their complaints justified?  C. J. shares his thoughts and talks about what the Lakers must do to get back into the series. We also discuss why so many of the great sports figures have a way about them that polarizes fans. Whether its Michael Jordan, Shaq, Kobe Bryant, Peyton Manning, Manny Ramirez or Alex Rodriguez, fans seem to either love them despise them.  There’s very little neutral ground.

We’re talking basketball in this visit with long time coach, C. J. Woollum on Sports Spectrum Today.
