Motor racing last weekend was incredible. In fact, last Sunday is referred to as the Greatest Day in Racing. The Indianapolis 500 was run on Sunday afternoon and later that night, NASCAR ran the Coca-Cola 600 race in Charlotte, NC.
There were some good stories that came out of both races. On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we talk with our racing analyst, Brad Winters. Brad is a long time free lance racing writer on both the Indy and NASCAR scenes.
He shares his insights on the stories of top Indy drivers Scott Dixon and Danica Patrick. Dixon has been the most consistent IRL driver this season and won the Indy 500. Danica was involved in an accident on pit road and was anxious for a confrontation with driver Ryan Briscoe.
Brad also talks about NASCAR and the hot streak Kasey Kahne is enjoying. Kahne had a disappointing season last year. But he has had back to back wins the last two weekends. This weekend NASCAR travels to Delaware and the IRL heads to Milwaukee. We talk about racing with Brad Winters on this edition of Sports Spectrum Today.
