Interviewed by: Frank Giardina

The second round of the NBA playoffs is under way and the match-ups promise to be long and dramatic. On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we catch up on NBA news with one of our basketball analysts, long time college coach, C. J. Woollum.

C.J. shares his thoughts on Byron Scott of New Orleans winning the league's Coach of the Year honors. He also talks about Kobe Bryant of the Lakers winning the league's MVP award and shares why MVP runner-up Chris Paul of New Orleans is so special.

What about the defending world champs, the San Antonio Spurs? What are some of the qualities that make this team so special?  Up in Dallas, is Rick Carlisle a good coaching fit with volatile owner Mark Cuban?

Don't miss this NBA visit with one of our basketball analysts, C. J. Woollum, on this edition of Sports Spectrum Today.
