The NBA playoffs are drawing the attention of most of the basketball world. One player that’s missing the excitement of playing is a former two-time all-American at Kansas, Wayne Simien.

Wayne played for the Miami Heat when they won the NBA championship in 2006. But he quickly found that the fame and glory of the NBA can be fleeting. Since then Wayne has had a disappointing time in the NBA due to a barrage of injuries and illness.

Wayne’s not given up on his dream of playing in the NBA, but he has made time to be our guest on this edition of Sports Spectrum Today. We hear about some of Wayne’s experiences at Kansas and the NBA and how he’s being used in the sport of basketball while in rehab.
