SPORTS SPECTRUM TODAY

College Basketball

Guest: Jimmy Dykes
College Basketball Analyst
ESPN

Interviewed by: Frank Giardina

The final game of the college basketball season was played last Monday night. In overtime the Kansas Jayhawks came from behind in dramatic fashion to knock off the Memphis Tigers. On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we recap the 2008 college hoops season.

Our guest is one of the busiest college basketball analysts in the country, Jimmy Dykes of ESPN.  In the month of March alone, Jimmy worked 21 men's or women's games in virtually every league in the country.

Jimmy shares his thoughts on the national title won by Kansas and talks about the pressure that head coach Bill Self has faced in his career at Kansas trying to follow former coach Roy Williams.

Jimmy also talks about how his faith impacts his approach to broadcasting.

We hope you’ll enjoy this post season college basketball visit with Jimmy Dykes of ESPN on Sports Spectrum Today.
