Interviewed by: Frank Giardina

The surprise Cinderella story in the NCAA tournament this year was the Davidson Wildcats, led by sophomore sharp-shooter, Stephen Curry. Davidson shocked the college basketball world by upsetting Gonzaga and Georgetown while pressing forward to the Sweet 16.

On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we talk with Davidson sophomore guard, Bryant Barr. He shares his thoughts on why the Wildcats were so successful this season. He also talks about what it’s like to play for Davidson veteran head coach, Bob McKillop

Bryant played high school ball in Maine and comments on making the adjustment to living and playing North Carolina. Bryant is also one of several Davidson players involved in a weekly campus bible study. He shares his thoughts on how important that time has been to him as a student and an athlete.

During the NCAA tournament, it’s always fun to root for the underdog. This year, many people found themselves pulling for Davidson. Take a few moments to enjoy a visit with Davidson sophomore guard Bryant Barr on this edition of Sports Spectrum Today
