Opening Day in Major League Baseball is here. Over the weekend and today, the sounds of "Play Ball" can be heard in stadiums across the country.  On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we visit with a Major League broadcaster who has seen many Opening Days: John Gordon, the radio voice of the Minnesota Twins.

The Twins no longer have ace left-handed pitcher, Johann Santana. He was traded to the New York Mets in the off-season. John talks about how Minnesota is trying to overcome the loss of the talented southpaw.

The American League Central may be baseball's best division this season. On paper, the Detroit Tigers may be the best team in the.  Cleveland is also strong, the Twins and Chicago White Sox are expected to contend as well. John shares his thoughts on the division.
