It’s championship weekend, for college athletics and it’s one of biggest weekends of the year. The NCAA wrestling championships are taking place in St. Louis. We’ll visit with Jim Martin a former collegiate champion from Penn State University. He was a Cinderella story as a national champ in 1988. He’ll share a few memories and tell us what he’s doing now.

The second round of games will be played this weekend in the NCAA College Basketball Tournament. We’ll break down the tournament with one of the top college football and basketball play by play announcers in the nation, Ron Thulin. Ron has worked for ESPN, FOX Sports, and Versus Network.

We’ll also talk basketball with one of the greatest players in the history of the University of North Carolina basketball program, Bobby Jones. Bobby will share his thoughts on this year's Tar Heels team who are the number one seed in this year's tournament. Can they win it all? Hear what Bobby has to say. Bobby also had a tremendous NBA career with the Philadelphia 76'ers. Bobby and his teammates Dr. J., Moses Malone, and Maurice Cheeks helped Philadelphia win the world championship in 1983 under Dean Smith. We’ll learn from Bobby a little of what it was like to play in the NBA.

We will also your phone calls and bring you up to date on all the weekend sports news. It’s sports, real-life issues, and faith this weekend on Sports Spectrum.
