The NFL combines continues to roll on in Indianapolis.  Coaches and scouts from all over the league are gathered in Indy to watch the workouts. But there’s more to the combines than just football. On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we talk with an assistant coach with the Philadelphia Eagles, Sean McDermott.

Sean shares his thoughts on the Eagles and their direction going into the off season. He also talks about the NFC East and the New York Giants Super Bowl win. And he talks about the challenges of coaching in this competitive division.

Sean also talks about some of the behind the scenes opportunities that take place at the combines. For instance, coaches talk with other coaches about football issues and practice tips.  They also talk with other coaches about personal issues such as balancing their time as a coach against being a husband and father. In addition many coaches gather for bible study in the early morning hours.
