This is also the weekend for the NFL combines in Indianapolis. We talk with Sean McDermott, an assistant coach with the Philadelphia Eagles. He gives us his perspective on the combine workouts. He also talks about some of the behind the scenes encouragement among the coaching fraternity that can take place at the combines.
In the NBA it’s an exciting time. There have been several major trades in the West involving big name players such as Shaquille O'Neal, Jason Kidd and Pao Gasol. We talk with free lance NBA writer Darryl Howerton about who benefited the most from the recent rash of trades.
And, the biggest college basketball game of the day is No. 1 Memphis hosting in-state rival and No. 2 Tennessee. We talk college basketball with a former Memphis assistant coach, Ed Schilling. Are the Tigers for real? Ed tells us and more.
Spring training is underway in Major League Baseball. But much of the news thus far has been about the steroids controversy. We talk real life issues with former Major League pitcher, Mark Dewey. Mark pitched in the 1990's with the Mets, Giants, and Pirates.
