SPORTS SPECTRUM TODAY

Major League Baseball

Guest: Jerry Terrell
Former Major League Infielder
Kansas City & Minnesota

Interviewed by: Frank Giardina

Spring training is underway in Major League Baseball. But, much of the news of the game has centered on the off season steroid issues of New York Yankee pitchers, Roger Clemens and Andy Petite.

Petite had a press conference with the news media on Monday where he apologized for his use of human growth hormone. It’s not been easy for Petite to be in the eye of this storm.

On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we get some perspective on this story from former Major League player and scout, Jerry Terrell. Jerry played for the Minnesota Twins and Kansas City Royals as a utility infielder.

How do we react when an athlete makes a mistake and then doesn’t totally tell the truth?  It makes for interesting conversation.

It’s a visit on a touchy subject in Major League Baseball with Jerry Terrell on Sports Spectrum Today.
