SPORTS SPECTRUM TODAY

College Football

Guest: Ron Brown
Assistant Football Coach
University of Nebraska

Interviewed by: Frank Giardina

The second season in college football, the recruiting season is now over and spring football is not far behind. There’s a new coaching regime at a traditional power, the University of Nebraska. On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we talk with the new tight ends coach at Nebraska, Ron Brown.

This is Ron's second coaching stint in Lincoln. He worked as the wide receivers coach for 17 years with Cornhuskers coaching legend, Tom Osborne. During that time Nebraska won national championships in 1994, 1995 and 1997.

After being fired at Nebraska five years ago, Ron worked with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He talks about his decision to return to coaching and the ministry opportunities that take place for coaches during the recruiting season.

It’s an enjoyable visit that will encourage you today. Don't miss our visit with Ron Brown, assistant football coach at the University of Nebraska on Sports Spectrum Today.
