The college basketball season is now in the stretch run. In Conference USA there’s not much drama this season. The top ranked team in the nation, Memphis is unbeaten and seems to be cruising in league play.

On this edition of Sports Spectrum Today, we talk with Conference USA first year head coach, Donnie Jones of Marshall. Donnie shares his thoughts on the Memphis Tigers and why they’re ranked number one.

Donnie is a former assistant at the University of Florida under Billy Donovan. He talks about his relationship with Billy and some of the things he learned. He also talks about the adjustment from coaching a team that wins back to back national titles, to now going into a rebuilding mode at Marshall.
