Yom Kippur: Day of Atonement
The streets of Jerusalem and the Jewish Quarter of the Old City are still on this day. In fact, in the Jewish regions all over the country there is a sort of holy hush; it is the Day of Atonement: Yom Kippur. In biblical times, Yom Kippur was a day of national repentance. And since that time, the Jewish people have observed this Day of Atonement by confessing to God and each other both their personal and national sins. Mart De Haan and Jimmy DeYoung have returned to the Holy Land to consider what this holy day of Yom Kippur can teach us today. "Yom Kippur: The Day of Atonement," on this Day of Discovery.
