When Power Is Misused: Finding The True Strength Of A Man
The apostle Paul told the Corinthians to “act like men, be strong” (1 Cor. 16:13 NASB). Being strong is an essential God-given component of masculinity. It can be seen in courageous acts of heroism or in daily providing for the needs of one’s family. Unfortunately, our culture promotes a twisted and violent version of male strength that dominates, bullies, and hurts others. What causes the twisting and misuse of what God has given as something good? The purpose of this booklet is to help men discover and deepen their God-given desire to use their strength for good, not evil.
